Towards Carbon Neutrality

Apple is an American tech company headquartered in California. As a responsible leader in this sector, they decided to become carbon neutral by 2030. Total emissions from 2015 were set as a baseline (reference). Their goal is to reduce it by 75% and remaining 25% to balance with carbon offsets.

The goal of the vizualization is to show the progress in reducing CO2e emissions untill now as well as project future emission levels required to meet the goal. In addition, some analysis was conducted in order to see what impact on business this challenge has.

The project has been submitted to Maven Environmental Challenge and uses datasets provided by Maven Analytics.
